TitleBUSINESS DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE DescriptionThe Business
Development Representative (BDR) plays a vital role in identifying
potential customers, generating new business opportunities, and
managing leads through the sales pipeline.Key Functions and Job
Responsibilities for the Busniess Development Representative-
Generate and qualify leads through cold calling, emailing, and
social media outreach.- Schedule meetings and tours for the Mills
James sales team with potential clients.- Maintain and update
customer information in the company's HubSpot system.- Conduct
market research to identify new leads and understand customer needs
and interests in the production industry.- Engage with prospects
via phone and email to introduce them to the company's products or
services.- Follow up with leads who have been contacted in the
past.- Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for
targeting potential customers.- Track and report on sales
activities and goals.- Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of
Mills James services, industry trends, and competition.- Handle
objections and educate prospects on the benefits of the company's
solutions.- Participate in sales training and educational programs
to enhance sales skills and product knowledge.- Ensure compliance
with sales processes and record-keeping requirements.- Assist with
the creation of sales materials, such as presentations and
proposals.- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets as
established by the CSO.- Provide feedback to marketing on lead
generation quality.Essential Job Requirements - Education:
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a
related field- Experience: 1-2 year in sales, marketing, customer
service, or related experience preferred, but not required- Strong
verbal and written communication skills- Ability to clearly
articulate product value propositions and conduct business
conversations- Understanding of sales performance metrics-
Familiarity with CRM software is a plus, and MS Office
(particularly MS Excel)- Excellent interpersonal skills with a
professional and enthusiastic demeanor- Ability to work in a
fast-paced, team-oriented environment- Strong organizational and
time-management skills- Willingness to learn Mills James sales
techniques and strategies- High level of self-motivation and a
strong work ethic- Ability to handle rejection and maintain a
