  • 1111 Polaris Pkwy, Columbus, OH, 43240, US Posting Date 08/01/2022, 03:10 PM Job Schedule Full time Job Description Chase Consumer & Community Banking (CCB) Field Performance Management delivers a suite of automated field management reports to multiple lines of business (LOBs) including Consumer Banking, US Wealth Management, and Business Banking. This reporting, which includes a combination of financial and non-financial results, is used to measure performance against strategic priorities and serves as a core component of monthly, quarterly, and annual performance management for field leadership. Employees on the CCB Field Performance Management team also serve as subject matter experts (SMEs) over the information contained within the datasets, providing counsel and support to both field reporting end-users and colleagues within Finance & Business Management, Data & Analytics, and other business functions. This role is focused on Field Performance Management reporting for Consumer Banking. This monthly automated reporting - known as the "Scorecard" - is produced for more than 4,500 branches, 300 Markets, 20 Regions, and 5 Divisions, and serves as the primary basis for determining annual incentive award opportunity for Branch Managers and Assistant Branch Managers. A successful candidate possesses not only a strong technical background with focus on reconciliation between data sources, but also an intellectual curiosity to fully understand the strategic priorities of the Consumer Bank and how they are incorporated into the Branch Scorecard. Responsibilities include:
    • Partnership with the Community and Business Development team to develop and implement new Scorecard reporting that supports the Community Manager and Virtual Banking channels, as well as to ensure that the new reporting is accurate and is achieving intended outcomes
    • Participation in the monthly and annual baseline releases of the Scorecard, which includes collaboration with technology/development groups and working with various partners to validate results and resolve issues
    • Assisting project teams in the creation and implementation of new business requirements, new features, and/or processes designed to support overall business objectives
    • Identifying opportunities to simplify and improve the quality, content, and format of the Scorecard reports and website
    • Identification of key performance drivers, including significant monthly variances in business results, and appropriate escalation of these findings
    • Responding to feedback and inquiries from field managers as well as colleagues within Finance
    • Involvement in the Scorecard adjustment/appeals process, which includes presenting approval/denial recommendations supported with sound justification based on case-by-case research Qualifications / Key Competencies include:
      • 5+ years' experience in finance organizations
      • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field preferred
      • Solid understanding of balance sheet and income statement components and how they drive financial results
      • Advanced analytic skillset, with the ability to use both real and simulated data to drive substantively informed decisions / recommendations
      • Strong communication skills (both written and oral)
      • Organized self-starter with ability to effectively operate in a team environment
      • Advanced competency with Microsoft Excel required; experience with Essbase and/or SQL preferred
