Summary:Reporting to the Business Unit Manager, the Business Unit
Controller is responsible for all accounting activities and global
financial operations. This position will be a strategic business
partner to the business unit leadership team by accurately
measuring and forecasting operating performance related to KPIs and
making recommendations for improvements.Key Responsibilities:
Maintain effective internal control of all business unit operations
and locations to ensure continued protection of its assets and an
accurate reporting of its financial position.Provide management
with monthly, quarterly, and annual reviews of the organization's
financial status and progress in its various programs and
activities in accordance with the Corporations reporting formats
and requirements.Partner with sales and operations management to
manage working capital by balancing inventory, accounts payable,
and accounts receivable.Forecast Business Unit business activity
and financial position in the areas of income, expenses, and
earnings based on past, present, and expected operations in
accordance with the Corporation's reporting formats and
requirements.Direct preparation of budgets by reviewing budget
proposals; prepare necessary supporting documentation and
justificationArrange audits of business units' financials, as well
as, internal and external audit requirements and US Sarbanes
Oxley-404 (SOX) testing and compliance.Perform due diligence on
potential acquisition targets. Develops models, business forecasts
and trend analysis to support these opportunities, as needed.Drive
IT strategy as defined by Division Director of IT, and management
of information technologyRepresent the company externally, as
necessary, to government agencies and auditors. Recruit, train,
supervise, and develop department staff and conduct annual
performance evaluations.Other duties as assigned.Minimum
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance10+ years
of previous experience in operational accounting leadership
rolesStrong background in GAAP, SEC Reporting and Sarbanes-Oxley
Act compliance as well as Manufacturing FinanceDesired
Qualifications: MBA and CPA preferred2-3 years at a public
accounting firm would be a plusSix Sigma and Lean Manufacturing
experience a plusProven team player who has demonstrated
capabilities in the following areas: excellent communication,
presentation, leadership and interpersonal skills, well developed
problem-solving skills; solid organizational skills; and the
demonstrated ability to be self-directed and effectively relate to
all levels of an organization.Must be a hands-on, detail-oriented
individual with the ability to see the big picture.Proven business
partnership skills with the demonstrated ability to work in a
matrix organizational environment.Ability to work well under
pressure, multitask and meet deadlines in a timely manner with
accuracy.Ability to coordinate and work with business leaders in
multiple locationsDemonstrated ability to manage staff and set
goals and objectives to meet Business Unit goals. This leader must
have a proven ability to select talent and develop
subordinates.Must be self-motivated and willing to do whatever it
takes to ensure the business is successful and meetings its
monthly, quarterly and annual commitmentsThe right person will be

professionallyComputer skills to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
Hyperion Enterprise and up to date ERP systems (Oracle experience a
