Lead Internal AuditorHybridJob Summary:
As part of the Internal Audit team, you will play a crucial role in conducting audits and assessing operating procedures and internal controls within the company's business processes. Your responsibilities will also include testing for compliance with SEC and other regulatory requirements. You will prepare work programs, provide recommendations on control deficiencies, and communicate audit results to management.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities for the Lead Internal Auditor:

• Conduct audits and assessments of company operations, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance under general supervision.
  
• Independently lead and manage audits, including atypical assignments involving cross-geographical teams or multi-business unit projects.
  
• Provide management with unbiased assessments of the adequacy of internal controls.
  
• Continuously develop specialized skills and knowledge valuable to the audit department and actively foster growth within the team.
  
• Coordinate and deliver presentations at audit management meetings.
  
• Assist in developing and implementing the annual audit plan.
  
• Be responsible for meeting individual audit budgets.
  Required Qualifications for the Lead Internal Auditor:
  
• Minimum of 5+ years of relevant audit experience
  
• Additional experience as a CPA, MBA, or certification such as Certified Internal Auditor is preferred.
  
• Strong financial analysis skills and proficiency in business control evaluation techniques, risk assessment, and project management.
  
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-stress business environment.
  
• Proactive and results-oriented with a demonstrated ability to take initiative.
  
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization.
  Preferred Additional Qualifications for the Lead Internal Auditor:
  
• Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
