Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and inventory accounting.
• Assist cost accounting activities, including inventory valuation, standard cost maintenance, and variance analysis.
• Support the annual audit process by providing necessary documentation and explanations to auditors.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and assist in the implementation of process improvements.
• Conduct inventory reconciliations and assist with physical inventory counts as needed.
• Assist in the preparation and submission of government filings and tax returns.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting of plant financials.
• Stay updated on accounting regulations and industry best practices, implementing changes as necessary.
• Assist in special projects and ad-hoc reporting as assigned.Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Experience with SAP or other similar ERP systems.
  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel required
