Staff Accountant Pay: Starting at $65,000 Location: Sandy Springs, GA Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour day shift We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our growing team in Sandy Springs, GA. This role supports the Assistant Controller in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and driving timely month-end and year-end close processes. Compensation & Benefits - Starting salary: $65,000 performance-based incentives - Health, dental, and vision insurance - Paid time off and paid holidays Key Responsibilities - General Ledger & Financial Reporting - Prepare and post journal entries (accruals, amortizations, reclasses) - Reconcile balance sheet accounts including cash, AR, AP, prepaid, fixed assets, accrued liabilities, inventory, and credit cards - Assist with month-end close to ensure accurate and timely financial statements - Support financial reporting, KPIs, and variance analysis - Prepare schedules and documentation for audits, tax filings, and lender reporting - Maintain data accuracy across sub-ledgers and integrated systems - Accounts Receivable Support - Review vendor invoices for accuracy, coding, and documentation - Assist with payment processing, statement reconciliation, and discrepancy resolution - Support customer invoicing, cash application, and AR aging reviews - Work with internal teams to resolve billing and collections issues - Cash Management - Prepare daily or weekly cash reconciliations - Assist with short-term cash forecasting - Monitor banking activity and support treasury functions Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred - 3 years of accounting experience (corporate or private company preferred) - Strong knowledge of GAAP and standard accounting transactions - Experience in a multi-entity or multi-revenue-stream environment preferred Preferred Skills - Experience with healthcare receivables - Familiarity with AccountingSEED - Experience supporting SPE or private investment accounting structures TRC Talent Solutions is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
