Job Description:
Amazon Web Services (AWS), a leader in cloud computing
platforms, is looking for a Senior Construction Manager to lead and
oversee the construction of state-of-the-art data centers globally.
This role involves direct management of complex large-scale
construction projects, ensuring successful completion on time,
within budget, and in accordance with safety and technical
standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in
construction management, particularly in critical facilities like
data centers or similar infrastructure. Plan, direct, coordinate,
and budget activities concerned with the construction of data
centers. Collaborate with design engineers, architects, and
contractors to define project scope and necessary resources.
Monitor compliance with building and safety regulations. Manage
construction schedule and budget, ensuring project milestones and
cost targets are met. Oversee the on-site construction team,
handling conflict resolution and making key decisions that impact
project deliverables. Coordinate the procurement of materials and
necessary equipment. Prepare internal and external reports
pertaining to job status and communicate progress regularly to
senior management. Proficiency in construction management software
(e.g., Procore, AutoCAD) Strong leadership, decision-making, and
communication skills Ability to handle multiple projects
simultaneously and under tight deadlines In-depth understanding of
construction, electrical, mechanical, and IT systems pertinent to
