(ASL) Interpreting, certified ASL Interpreter credentials, and 1
year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings.

considered. Sign Language Interpreter opportunity available in
Statesville, NC, supporting elementary education within a public
school setting. This contract position offers a consistent Monday
through Friday schedule, with 35 hours per week (7 hours per day,
from 7:00 AM to 2:30 PM), beginning April 1, 2026, through May 29,
2026, and continuing for the 2026/2027 school year. Key
Responsibilities: Provide onsite sign language interpreting
services for a student based at Troutman Elementary. Arrive prior
to the students arrival each day, ensuring readiness to support
communication needs throughout the school day. Collaborate closely
with educators and staff to facilitate effective communication and
inclusion. Qualifications: Must hold a current Sign Language
Interpreter license. EIPA score of 3.5 or higher is required;
alternatively, candidates with RID certification qualify regardless
of EIPA score. Prior experience working in educational settings
preferred. Ability to work onsite exclusively (no telecommuting or
remote interpreting allowed). Location: This position is based in
Statesville, North Carolina, requiring daily onsite presence within
