Job Description:
**JOB DESCRIPTION**
The A&F Corporate Global Data and Integrations DevOps team is
searching for an ambitious and gritty Machine Learning Engineer. -
This person will focus on implementing best-in-class Machine
Learning Operations (MLOps) tools and processes for data scientists
to leverage in order to enhance reproducibility and resilience of
insight products. - We are committed to scaling predictive
analytics across the organization and MLOps is critical to enabling
development cycles for new insight products that don't get mired by
past, high-maintenance projects. - MLOps practices will also allow
us to systematize best-in-class open source algorithms for
delivering value to both internal and external customers. - The ML
Engineer will demonstrate a deep comprehensive working knowledge of
every component of MLOps as well as fundamental Data Engineering
practices that will enable them to train other team members to
become full-stack, end-to-end data scientists - owning a project
from data exploration to model deployment.
**WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?**
**Machine Learning Pipeline Management**
- Be able to design and deploy a machine learning pipeline from
exploratory query to feature engineering to model training/testing
to batch or real-time deployment.
- Test new technologies that may limit technical debt or help data
scientists to deploy models more efficiently.
- Develop best practices and how-to guides for MLOps practices such
as:
- Git
- CI/CD
- Input data unit and statistical testing
- Experiment tracking
- Model Registry
- Scheduling of ML pipelines
- Production drift monitoring and alerting
- Optimization of cloud compute resources
- Serve as the MLOps SME (Subject Matter Expert) and coach for the
entire GDI DevOps and Data & Analytics team
- Train all data scientists in MLOps best practices.
**Data Engineering**
- Establish and parameterize connections to new data sources
(social, clickstream, unstructured, etc.)
- Adopt best practices for writing processed data (ML features) to
appropriate data lakes, warehouses, or feature stores.
- Ensure data accuracy and single source of truth; work with Data
Engineers to identify or build new solutions.
**WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING?**
- B.S. degree or above in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering,
Machine Learning, Operation Research, Statistics, Data Science or
related engineering fields
**You don't have to be an expert in all or any of the areas below,
but we need someone with a passion for learning and growing as a
software developer and ML engineer.**
- Strong engineering and coding skills, with ability to write high
quality production code.
- Expert in Python, SQL, PySpark and/or CLI.
- Experience with Azure cloud ecosystem
- 4+ years of production model deployment experience
- Experience optimizing model hyperparameter tuning for speed and
cost
- Experience building supervised and unsupervised models
- Experience developing with Agile practices.
- Excellent documentation habits
- Highly motivated/self-starter with a sense of ownership,
willingness to learn, and desire to succeed.

of $104,000 per year. -Factors that may be used to determine your
