About this Position:--

At this job level, you will lead the development of hardware and software technologies into our vehicles to enhance comfort, safety, and user experience towards creating a top-class infotainment platform. You are expected to handle multiple projects simultaneously, and will oversee and develop other engineers.



Responsibilities include:

• Direct the Honda selected suppliers to design and manage the component to maturation schedule requirements. Lead technical negotiations with suppliers.
  
• Perform actual hands-on testing that may include developing unique requirements to system components and vehicle testing to guarantee product performance. Guide and assist junior associates with their testing activities.
  
• Contribute to and maintain development roadmaps to facilitate qualitative and efficient software development, and to ensure that work is prioritized in line with division's / department's requirements and priorities
  
• Write clear and concise reports, presentations and/or technical documents to make a record of the development activities, communicating directly with Technical Experts.
  
• Support maturation testing to cover different configurations of components to ensure all variations work correctly.
  
• Develop, write and issue specification requirements for system components. Provide assistance to more junior associates as needed.
  
• Analyze/interpret test results, predict performance/failure and provide required product/design data.
  
• Recognize and specify critical functional (hardware, software & communication) requirements for infotainment system components to match customer demands.
  
• Effectively communicate the development schedule and report status of component functions to different company areas/departments.
  
• Research and influence the future path and trends of infotainment system architecture, features/functions, and efficient development methods.
  
• Assess the marketplace demands with a competitive viewpoint of infotainment system component requirements.

  • 5 years of related experience is desired.-- It may also be used to substitute for required degree

    • 4-yr degree of BSc in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
