------The Chemours Corporate Headquarters located in Wilmington, DE
has a Project Cost Engineer position available. This is a highly
visible, key role within the Company and the Project Controls
function. This position will report to the Cost Control and Project
Systems Manager.
The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited
to, the following:
Prepares monthly Project Financial Reporting for all project
reporting categories
Ensures Project Controls Best Practices and Procedures are executed
and followed
Leads monthly project controls review of cost and schedule vs
commitment at authorization
Builds Project Control Plans in collaboration with Scheduling and
Estimating functions for major projects
Drives change process to ensure proposed change guidelines and
timely documentation requirements are met
Maintains/Change Log, process and route Change Documentation for
approval, updates Corporate Financial systems for Engineering and
Construction
Utilizes project documentation (current expenditures, approved
changes, and the project schedule) to develop Estimate at
Completion (EAC), the forecast of total expenditures at project
completion, and works with Project Manager to finalize for monthly
report
Analyzes the documented project progress from the Engineering,
Construction, Procurement and Operations functions
Researches and submits required transfer requests
Ensures monthly final project financial file is uploaded into
database for Key Performance indicators
Interacts with Chemours Finance as it relates to project financial
reporting
In conjunction with Finance Policy resources, provides cost vs cap
guidance to Engineering organization
Ensures cost forecasts and schedules are aligned
Fills SAP PS Key User role to provide training and communication as
necessary
Ensures projects are set up in the Chemours Financial system using
Chemours guidelines and best practices
To be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:

Bachelor's degree or 10+ years of equivalent job experience
Ability to manage multiple project tasks and quickly initiate
changes in plan when appropriate
Demonstrated ability to drive operational excellence and deliver
results.
Strong organization and management abilities
Ability to effectively interact with and influence project team
resources within and outside of Chemours
Must be able to travel up to 25%
