Description: The Project Engineer will be working closely with the Construction Services team to ensure the efficiency and success of projects. Will be working closely with Project Managers and Site Engineers to dispatch Field Technicians, vehicles, and equipment to job sites. Will also be responsible for reviewing reports, summarizing testing data, solving technical issues, and communicating directly with clients. Must be able to comprehend the technical engineering aspects of the work. The Project Engineer plays a vital role in the Construction Services team as they ensure resources are being allocated to the correct sites at the correct times, and directly support the work of the PM's. The responsibilities of this role can be trained and can lead to internal growth opportunities within this engineering firm. --- Dispatch field personnel, equipment, and vehicles to the proper job sites. --- Works closely with Project Managers and Site Supervisors to ensure resources are allocated to the correct job sites based off changing needs. --- Preparation of test reports and performing specialty tests and services for public and private sector clients --- Interacts with clients and potential clients to ensure project objectives are met. --- Manages reporting of construction quality control activities on construction projects. --- Manages the maintenance of the quality reviews and certifications. --- Manages equipment inventory and calibration. --- Manages client marketing and proposal preparation in conjunction with internal partners. --- Monitors and enforces quality standards and specifications to support the client.
