the Future! About this Position: The Process Engineer is
responsible for evaluating new model tools/ molds for compatibility
with equipment and general plastic processing principles,
supporting maturation activity related to new model tools/ molds,
ensuring proper documentation related to processes is completed and
maintained, ensuring parts remain in spec throughout lifecycle of
tool/ mold, and support troubleshooting of chronic issues related
to quality. Responsibilities include:
- Using technical knowledge to evaluate mold design for proper
mold flow to allow for repeatable, high-quality parts and develop
proposals to improve design
- Supporting maturation activity related to New Model
tools/molds
- Ensuring proper documentation related to processing of
tools/molds
- Using technical knowledge to support production/MESD daily to
achieve Quality/Delivery targets
- Leading root cause analysis activity related to material
problems
- Investigating/implementing ways to continuously improve
plastics department Who we are seeking: Required Work
Experience:
- 0-6 years' dependent upon education/ experience level Required
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Plastics Engineering (mechanical,
electrical, industrial) or equivalent work experience. Desired
skills:
- Fluent in Microsoft Office programs
- At the spot collection and analysis of data
- Hands on support of equipment/tools/molds
- Create and track project schedules Additional Position
Factors:
- 50% plant floor, 50% office
- Travel
- Weekly OT 8-10 hours average
- Fast-paced environment requiring ability to change focus
quickly
- Primary working hours 6:30am-3:00pm Mon-Fri with occasional
