About the Role Essity is looking for an experienced Boiler Operator to oversee the Powerplant operations in a safe and efficient manner including: water filtration systems and a natural gas boiler, while supporting our high standards of safety, housekeeping, quality, and productivity. What You Will Do Maintains, records and e-mails daily reports for power plant safety, environmental and boiler production Maintains and publishes data entry reports on Capstone Operates and makes rounds to check air compressors, all PP, PRV, Vent Valves and mill main feeder breakers Monitors capstone trending of Boiler Monitors and maintains RO system or softeners as needed Regenerates all Zeolite filters as needed Completes daily water, condensate and effluent testing and reports results Completes environmental testing and recording for daily/ monthly NPDES requirements as needed Makes appropriate chemical additions to boiler make-up water as needed Monitors deep wells, completes rounds and collects and records data as needed Operate mobile equipment Who You Are High School Diploma or GED Must have active Ohio Boiler Operator’s License Experience working in an industrial environment preferred Experience working with a gas boiler Desire to work in a team based environment Ability to safely perform tasks in a fast paced, heavy industrial environment Ability to stand, reach, and twist in a heavy industrial environment Ability to lift up to 50 pounds . climb ladders, walk distances, work at heights on platforms, work in tight or closed spaces Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays What We Can Offer You At Essity, we believe everyone's learning and professional development is unique and want to empower employees to reach their full potential in a winning culture motivated by a powerful purpose.
