Director, Aircraft Sales & Acquisitions, QS Partners (NJUS)

Purpose of Position
The objective of the Director, Aircraft Sales and Acquisitions, is
to generate and execute all types of aircraft transactions, and
service potential and current clients, in a "world class" manner
while adhering to the highest professional and ethical standards.
These responsibilities include Aircraft Acquisitions, Aircraft
Brokerage, Inventory Aircraft, NetJets Disposals, Project
Management, and Aircraft Closing Activities.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- NetJets Disposals - Maintain a consistent focus on the annual
NetJets/QS Partners disposal objectives by constantly promoting the
value of disposal aircraft in the marketplace and being actively
involved in identifying potential buyers.
- Closing Activities - Understand, communicate, and execute all
closing related activities. Utilize other members of the QS
Partners team to ensure aircraft transactions occur in accordance
with the terms of their respective purchase agreements and that all
delivery conditions and client objectives are fulfilled.
- Aircraft Acquisitions - Execute retail aircraft acquisitions by
identifying, developing, and closing both new client opportunities
and existing relationships. Additionally, and as may from time to
time be directed by QS Partners Managing Partners, assist in the
execution of "house" acquisitions. A thorough, broad understanding
of current market dynamics, market trends, aircraft values,
aircraft maintenance schedules and programs, and transaction
structure/strategy is required. Coordinate with other QS Partners
staff and utilize QS Partners resources to generate proposals,
offers, purchase agreements, and market research.
- Aircraft Brokerage - Responsible for the execution of retail
aircraft brokerages by identifying, developing, and closing both
new client opportunities and existing relationships. Manage all
aspects of the listing and sale process by coordinating with other
QS Partners staff and utilizing QS Partners resources to generate
proposals, offers, purchase agreements, and market
- Inventory Aircraft - Identify, quantify, and execute retail
inventory opportunities for the benefit of QS Partners. Manage all
aspects of the acquisition: Offer, contract, pre-buy, closing, and
subsequent refurbishment and sale efforts to maximize the financial
return to QS Partners while minimizing risk.
- Project Management - Manage all elements of an aircraft
transaction. Utilize the QS Partners staff and resources to develop
a project plan, update CRM, and utilize other electronic project
management tools on an as-needed basis to ensure the QS Partners
team is in sync with specific project goals, objectives, and
timelines. Responsible for the articulate, accurate, and honest
communication of all project related activities.
