Title Branch ManagerDirect Hire$73,000 - $78,000 per year*Must be able to commute to Columbus and be able to work onsite*Position Overview:One of the nation's leading builders of single-family homes is looking for a Title Branch Manager to grow with their team! The Columbus Branch Manager is responsible for the daily closing activities of the Title branch, including managing the escrow team, closing processes, approval of payroll hours and overall budget responsibilities of the branch.--You will lead the branch ensuring the customer, both internal and external, have exceptional customer satisfaction while maintaining productivity and effectiveness. An ideal fit will be someone with 2 - 4 years of experience managing a branch, has knowledge of title insurance practices, and excellent interpersonal skills to clearly communicate across multiple divisions in financial and building divisions. What you'll be doing: * Responsible for the operational excellence of the escrow team within the branch.* Accountable for supervision and development of the escrow team within the branch.* Monitor/measure workload, quality of output, and overall performance of the branch.* Make continuing improvement on cost reduction, process efficiencies, increased output while maintaining reduced errors.* Responsible for monthly customer service scores of the branch.* Coordinates closing dates with customers, as necessary within the Division.* Ability to interact with the Builder Division and Financial Division, resolving any pre-closing issues, as well as the Accounting and Production Teams.* Ability to interact with Post Closing Department, resolving any post-closing issues.* Reviews title commitments and relays curative requirements to parties involved.* Reviews and ensures the work performed by Escrow staff is in compliance with generally accepted practices.* Reviews appropriate documents for timely submission to the county recorder.* Other duties as assigned.Skills/Abilities: * Knowledge of title insurance practices.* Excellent communication and organizational skills.* Proven leadership abilities and demonstrated ability to successfully coach and develop staff.* Ability to manage conflict.* Must create and maintain positive relationships with all company divisionsRequired ExperienceMinimum Education Experience:* Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of related experience* Previous experience managing an Escrow team or a mortgage branch a PLUS!Work Conditions:* Minimal travel required
