Job Description:

A client of Insight Global is looking for a social media specialist to join the higher ed team! The social media specialist will assist in the planning and execution of paid and organic social campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and other emerging platforms. They are passionate about learning and adapting to our marketing mix and communication opportunities. They are strategic and analytical as they constantly seek to improve our growth.

Responsibilities

- Execute full-cycle programs of direct response paid social campaigns across all social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube) and other emerging social channels

- Take direction from marketing & creative briefs into execution & mid-campaign optimizations to hindsight reporting & analysis

- Help to define and provide creative specifications, best practices and needs

- Monitor and optimize Dynamic Product Ad campaigns & strategy to drive profitable demand and support business priorities

- Provide campaign analysis to help generate data-driven recommendations that improve current marketing and business practices to drive profitable demand, customer acquisition, engagement, and retention

- Contribute to other team projects and initiatives, remaining flexible and willingness to support opportunities to drive the business

- The position demands strong analytical, planning, and multi-tasking skills to achieve business objectives, as well as a keen marketing sense to maximize resonance with target audiences

- Embody fail fast mentality by developing tests and iterating on learnings across platforms, creative formats, messaging, and audiences

- Set and track key performance metrics that align with key business objectives; work in partnership with analytics team to build and communicate actionable reports

- Assist in managing budgets on a campaign, quarter, and annual level and track all paid social media spend

- Assist in sourcing content for organic social channels and scheduling that content

- Monitor and respond to customers, shoppers, and other stakeholders across social media channels in a timely manner

Minimum Requirements

- 2 - 3 years of experience managing paid and organic social channels required, with a strong emphasis on customer acquisition focused goals

- Hands-on experience with Facebook Business Manager and LinkedIn Ad Manager required. Experience with other paid social platforms is also recommended (Snapchat, Twitter, and TikTok)

- Deep understanding of performance tracking and ROI analysis; you are comfortable working in Excel and building reports for measuring ad effectiveness

- Experience with the testing methodologies supported by the paid social platforms (lift testing, A/B split testing)

- Experience running acquisition or other growth marketing campaigns

- Collaborative personality with the ability to also work independently

- Excellent analytical and prioritization skills required

- Excellent oral and written communication skills are also required
