Questline's Business Development Director (an individual
contributor role) is the primary account lead for New Business
within an assigned set of existing and/or prospective clients. This
role is accountable for securing solution based New Business sales
by forging strong relationships with key client/prospect
stakeholders at a decision-making level to ensure that Questline is
considered an integral digital marketing and communications
partner. This role requires partnering with internal teams in the
creation and execution of account growth and strategy plans, while
delivering exceptional product and service solutions. The Business
Development Director will drive New Business growth and manage all
aspects of New Business opportunities with assigned clients.
CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES (Essential Functions): The Director is
chiefly accountable for the following:
Relationship: Develop and maintain relationships with key
stakeholders at assigned clients and/or prospects that result in
Sales and New Business opportunities.
Solution: Introduce and present digital communications or marketing
solutions, with Questline Subject Matter Experts, across all silos
and levels at assigned clients and/or prospects.
Growth: Own and manage a sales pipeline that results in the
achievement of a net-new annual sales quota for an assigned book of
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Standard Office Environment or Remote, Travel
1-2x/month in accordance with what is allowable during the pandemic
at client sites and tradeshows.

The Director should have:
5+ years' relevant experience in a digital or data, client-facing
position, preferably for a digital marketing, content marketing or
advertising agency (account director, account executive, business
development director, etc.)
Articulate and highly motivated self-starter who has the capacity
to take ownership of opportunities and help clients and/or
prospects think in a different way.
Excellent presentation skills and clear, effective writing
Positive, solutions-oriented approach driven by a passion for
expanding relationships with clients, resulting in closed won
Digital strategic communications planning partner, with the ability
to recognize and respond to diverse client demands and manage
client expectations accordingly
CRM experience: Salesforce experience highly preferred
Strong analytical capabilities
Proficient in managing the financial aspects of new opportunities
with an aptitude and desire to learn more (e.g., sales and revenue
planning, proposals and contracts, sales projections)
Demonstrates positive and respectful collaboration and maintains
constructive internal and external working relationships when
dealing with uncomfortable situations and/or conflict and/or when
Proficiency in guiding clients through and to strategic
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Experience in the energy utility industry preferred but not
