  • 1050 Dearborn Drive, Columbus, OH, 43085, US Posting Date 07/14/2022, 03:56 PM Job Description Job Type: Management FLSA: Exempt Location: Columbus [preferred] The Strategy and Integration Director provides hands on strategy formulation and execution leadership to support M&A integration and growth initiatives across Vertiv and E+I Engineering. While the specific job deliverables will vary according to business needs, you will have the broad skills needed to exercise strong analytical, critical thinking, governance and program management capabilities while helping to drive top line growth of E+I products and services. You will work independently and collaboratively with a team. - This position requires significant collaboration across Vertiv & E+I sales, product, marketing, Finance and IT teams globally including senior executives, business leaders and subject-matter-experts. Near-Term Priorities 50% - Partner with VRT & E+I global/regional sales teams to drive collaboration and execute plans to -build processes and capabilities to pull E+I products through all VRT sales channels
    • Partner with E+I and VRT to identify and operationalize pathways to build product knowledge and capabilities of sellers in local markets (direct sellers and distributors) to deliver a unique value proposition and gain market share.
    • Conduct market assessments, benchmark growth rates, align go to market plans and ultimately formulate and prioritize strategic initiatives to grow revenue.
    • Support expansion into new geographies and new markets, identifying enabling actions and aligning resources to execute to drive readiness. 25% - Partner with global/strategic account managers at E+I and VRT to integrate E+I into the overall account planning and pipeline management processes
      • Identify target opportunities to drive sales synergies with the combined power of E+I products and services.
      • Monitor execution of global/strategic account E+I action plans and ensure opportunities feed into pipeline management. 25% - Partner with E+I sales leaders and integration team members to lead the maturity of opportunity management and pipeline processes for E+I's global business
        • Establish processes and metrics to improve visibility of E+I opportunities; driving understanding of lead creation, conversion win rates, sales cycle, and pipeline coverage vs. targets.
        • Lead pipeline management preparation and governance cadence to review opportunities and key metrics to facilitate alignment of the unconstrained demand plan to support broader SIOP activities.
        • Participate in broader sales operations transition planning and execution to integrate the E+I business into VRT run-the-business process including Oracles Sales Cloud (CRM), quota/target setting, and order management/customer service processes. Essential Job Functions
          • Strategic Thinking : evaluating industry trends, developing long-term implications and recommending pragmatic strategies for new business opportunities, portfolio optimization, and technology disruption.
          • Analytical Rigor : ability to bring structure to ill-defined problems and intellectual leadership to problem solving; synthesize insights from analysis and ensure credible, actionable recommendations.
          • Communications skills : ability to develop rapport and credibility across the organization, promote ideas and proposals persuasively. Ability to manage controversial situations including senior level leaders and external groups.
          • Strategic Execution: engage with key stakeholders in Corporate and Regional Strategy & Planning, Marketing, Sales, Product Lines, Finance and other functions to execute high visibility projects that support the Company's top initiatives. QUALIFICATIONS : Minimum Qualifications: -
            • 5-10 years of experience driving strategy formulation and execution in sales or strategic projects
            • Experience developing strategy and knowledge of go-to-market fundamentals
            • Bachelors' Degree in Engineering, Business or related field; MBA preferred. Preferred Qualifications:
              • Experience in a medium to large technology, industrial or similar organization.
