This growing organization is looking for an HR Manager
The Human Resources Manager is directly responsible for the overall
administration, coordination and evaluation of the site HR

Develop and administer various Human Resources plans and procedures
for all site personnel.
Plan, organize and control all activities of the department.
Participate in developing department goals,objectives and

necessary; conduct annual salary surveys and develop merit pool
(salary budget); analyze compensation;

benefits administration to include claims resolution, change
reporting, approving invoices for payment, annual re-evaluation of

interpretation, and coach and train leaders to ensure proper labor
Participate in union negotiations, attends union delegate
Ensure maintenance of records of insurance coverage, pension plan,
and personnel transactions, such as
hires, promotions, transfers, and terminations.
File EEO-1 annually; maintains other records, reports and logs to
conform to EEO regulations.
Conduct recruitment effort for all site specific, exempt, nonexempt
and temporary workers; write and places advertisements; work with
supervisors to screen and interview candidates; conduct reference
checking; extend job offers; conduct new-employee orientations;
monitor career-path program and employee relations counseling;
conduct exit interviews.
Establish and maintain department records and reports, including
headcount, turnover, job bids, absenteeism, worker's compensation,
Participate in HR and Operation staff meetings and attend
other meetings, as necessary.
Maintain employee HRIS data, including corresponding reporting.
Evaluate reports, decisions and results of department initiatives
in relation to established goals.
Recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to effect
continual improvements in efficiency of department and services
Participate in HR company-wide project teams.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local employment
Required Education, Skills and Experience
A bachelor degree in human resources or related field
Minimum of five years; experience in human resources
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office
HR Generalist background
Ability to work well with all cultures
Team and leadership skills
Preferred Education, Qualifications and Experience
A masters degree in human resource management or business.
Experience leading HR in union
SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified
Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential.
HRCI Certified Professional PHR or SPHR
