TRC is looking for an experienced Program Manager to manage energy efficiency programs. The ideal candidate should have experience managing diverse teams in a consulting/customer focused environment with the ability to foster a positive employee culture. This is a leadership position with direct customer interaction responsible for maintaining customer satisfaction and ensuring the productivity, efficiency, and quality of service delivered to one of our large-scale utility clients. This individual will be responsible for ensuring performance objectives are visible to the team, updated with current progress, and can convey performance variances to senior management. This role will oversee management of multiple programs, while mentoring and coaching other team members. The ideal candidate will be process-driven, personable, and a self"starter, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks working under the guidance of the central region Vice President. This position requires the ability to communicate effectively and coordinate with internal team members and external client contacts. A successful candidate will have direct input on decisions that affect the overall profit and loss for the utility portfolio and will be responsible for client retention and expansion.

In this role, the Program Manager will have direct responsibility for all aspects of program implementation from driving participation to the realization of savings. The ideal candidate will understand client and program needs and have the technical and management acumen to develop the solutions needed. The Program Manager will be responsible for forecasting and meeting program goals and addressing challenges along the way; identifying program policy and procedure improvements; and leading deliverable development. The ability to shape successful cross-functional teams and motivate these teams to work seamlessly through excellent coordination is required

Previous experience with energy efficiency programs aimed at residential or non-residential sectors is highly desirable. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Directly manage a group of personnel from varied disciplines.

Overseeing program staff that support day"to"day program application processing, customer technical assistance, process improvement, program design, pipeline management, and outreach & marketing tasks.

Responsible for the implementation of all program processes and procedures to ensure project applications and payments are processed and issued in accordance with client expectations and timelines. This includes: project review and approval; quality assurance/quality control activities; supervise all operational aspects of the office; oversee program hotline support activities and continually identify process improvements,

Analyzing existing and anticipated utility client requirements and developing and implementing action plans.

Leading program process improvements and ensuring portfolio"wide quality control.

Coordinate regularly with program teams, including operations and engineering, marketing, outreach and management staff.

Inspire, mentor, manage, and support other TRC staff. This includes: balancing direct reports workload; ensuring accountability and compliance; performance evaluations; and defining professional growth and development.

Oversee creation of monthly energy forecasts.

Produce project deliverables as assigned.

This position is also responsible for the identification of MS Dynamics enhancements that increase efficiencies in all cross functional teams.

Resolve any employee, customer, and client issues in a timely and matter. Appropriate degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment.

Experience leading teams across multiple tasks to achieve common objectives.

Experience in client relationship management and establishing and utilizing appropriate communication cadence.

Affinity for data and the ability to combine data and business intelligence to drive effective decisions.

Ability to work effectively across multiple functions (engineering, marketing, operations...).

Ability to train, develop, and engage team members.

Ability to establish and manage effective program metrics.

Excellent customer service skills in working with both customers, client and internal functions.

Experience and aptitude for supporting the creation and compliance of detailed contractual and/or program documentation.

Excellent communication skills in both oral and written form.

Aptitude for Microsoft products to effectively manage time, schedule, and activity completion. Specifically, Excel, Project, Word, and Visio.

Experience in establishing and leading effective meetings. Desired Skills: Energy Efficiency Program implementation experience

Project Management Professional (PMP/) experience or certification

Environmental or energy background or certifications such as Certified Energy Auditor (C.E.A.) or Certified Energy Manager (C.E.M.) certifications Aptitude for Microsoft Dynamics or similar CRM software
