Description: Questline Digital's Business Development Director
is an individual contributor who grows revenue through new business
sales. Using qualified leads, the Business Development Director
forges strong relationships with our prospects'
decision-makers.Questline Digital offers a unique set of strategic
communication solutions that increase customer engagement for our
Energy Utility clients. An understanding of digital marketing and
the ability to work multi-step, complex sales cycles are essential
for the Business Development Director.Preferred candidates will
live in the Columbus area and be able to work a hybrid office/WFH
schedule. However, since our industry operates nationwide, QLD will
consider fully remote candidates who can travel for conferences and
client meetings and occasionally to HQ. Travel estimated at 5-10
times per year.CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES (Essential Functions): Develop
and maintain relationships with key stakeholders at assigned
clients and/or prospects that result in new business.Introduce and
present digital communications or marketing solutions, with
Questline Digital subject matter experts, across all silos and
levels at assigned clients or prospects.Own and manage a pipeline
that results in the achievement of a net-new annual sales quota for
an assigned book of business.Requirements: COMPETENCIES (Knowledge,
Skills, Abilities) and EXPERIENCE:3+ years' relevant sales
experience preferably in a digital agency, data or software
marketPositive, solutions-oriented approach driven by a passion for
expanding relationships with clients, resulting in closed won
opportunitiesProficiency in guiding clients to strategic solutions
in complex, multi-step sales cyclesAbility to travel to industry
conferences and client visits approximately 5-10 times each
yearArticulate and highly motivated self-starter who has the
capacity to take ownership of opportunities and help prospects
think in a different way.CRM experience: Salesforce experience
highly preferredExcellent presentation skills and clear, effective
writing skillsStrong analytical capabilitiesProficient in managing
the financial aspects of new opportunities Can be positive and
respectful in collaborating with internal teamsBachelor's degree or
equivalent experienceExperience in the energy utility industry
