Condado Tacos is an energetic, colorful, fast-paced restaurant specializing in make your own tacos, tequila & margueritas. Since 2014, Condado has grown exponentially to 40 locations across the Midwest and beyond, and they continue to grow with the expectation of 12+ additional openings in 2023. Position Overview:Reporting to the President, the Vice President provides leadership, inspiration, and guidance to the organization's HR operations. The VP is an integral member of the leadership team and is responsible for overseeing and coordinating an integrated approach to initiatives involving Human Resources and the operational functions of Condado. The VP guides the organization's Human Resources practices policies, and programs that support and align with the mission and strategy of the organization. Duties/Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for creating, applying, and evaluating best practice human resources policies & procedures, and identifying and implementing long-range strategic talent management goals.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to de---ne the organization's long-term mission and goals & identify ways to support this mission through talent management.
  • Using a proactive approach, identify key performance indicators (KPIs) for the organization's human resource and talent management functions, and then assess the organization's success and market competitiveness based on these metrics.
  • Oversee and work with the HR team to research, develop, and implement competitive compensation, bene---ts, performance appraisal, and employee incentive programs.
  • Supervise and provide guidance and leadership to the human resource team, consisting of four full-time employees.
  • Ensure compliance with employment, bene---ts, insurance, safety, and other laws, regulations, and requirements.
  • Participate in professional development and networking conferences and events.

    Required Skills/Abilities:

    • Leadership experience with a track record of working collaboratively to achieve goals.
    • Exhibit strong communication skills- both oral and written. Ability to send communications to individuals and large groups with the audience in mind to meet goals.
    • Proven problem-solving and employee relations resolution skills.
    • Creative and entrepreneurial mindset resulting in ideas being brought forward to leadership.
    • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related ---eld required. Master's degree highly preferred.
    • Eight to ten years of human resource experience with strategic, talent management, and/or business development experience highly preferred.
