Oracle is building a best in class next generation cloud that supports that supports the most demanding mission-critical customer requirements, operating at cloud scale to provide a secure, distributed, multi-tenant cloud environment.
The candidate will be embedded in the OCI Product Management team for cross service product management & enabling and onboarding our largest most complex customers.
As a Technical Program Manager, you will provide expertise in data management, analysis, technology and processes ensuring our operational success. The work is non-routine, complex and involves the application of both technical, interpersonal and business skills. Candidates who can contribute individually and cross collaborate with a wide range of Oracle Employees will make this role successful. 3+ years of Program Management, Business Analytics, Data Engineering or related experience preferred.
In order to achieve this success, our Technical Program Manager is responsible for:



  • Executing of the data engineering processes from understanding business requirements, datadiscovery, and extraction to model development and evaluation.


  • Work with stakeholders to prioritize business and information needs


  • Managing multiple data projects through project lifecycles.


  • Solving business and technical problems with robust use of data methodologies and creative use of modelling techniques.


  • Facilitating cross-silo communications and decision making across team, division, and company.


  • Managing project-level plan, issues/risks, status, etc.


    Responsibilities
    In order to achieve this success, our Technical Program Manager is responsible for:

    • Managing project-level plan, issues/risks, status, etc.


      Skills & Experience that will help make this role successful


      • 3+ years of program management, business analytics or data engineering


      • Advanced Excel


      • Experience with SQL


      • Experience with BI tools such as OBIEE, PowerBI, APEX etc.


      • Strong organizational, presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.


      • Ability to synthesize complex elements into crisp and robust stories for audiences of variable technical levels


      • Active involvement with Cloud services - familiarity with cloud concepts, terminology, tech stacks.


      • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Data Science or related field; or equivalent experience

        Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated location(s)
        California Pay Range: from $87,800 to $225,400 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
        Colorado Pay Range: from $103,500 to $202,900 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
        New York City Pay Range: from $103,500 to $214,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
        Washington Pay Range: from $114,000 to $214,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
        Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience and market conditions, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
        Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

      • Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

      • Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
