preferred!As a full time, exempt,Director ofAccreditation withCPS
Solutions, LLC (CPS), Specialty and Ambulatory team, you will work
under the direction of and in collaboration with the Vice
President, Accreditation Specialty and Ambulatory Services. You
will be responsible for overseeing the quality control of the
organization's specialty pharmacy operations to include
accreditation management/maintenance, staff education, auditing,
reporting management, compliance, policy review/management, etc.,
and ultimately impacting the quality of service that we provide to
our customers and their patients.Schedule:This full time position
works at least 40 hours per week, however hours may be long and
irregular; includes evenings, weekends, as necessary. This
positionrequires travel away from a home location for varying
lengths of time up to 60% of time.Pay range: $140,000-$160,000
(salary is based upon years of applicable Pharmacy System
accreditation experience)Key Responsibilities include:Managing
thefollowing areas as they relate to specialty pharmacy services,
not all inclusive:
- Accreditation Management/Maintenance
- Learning core accreditation standards and ensuring compliance
with standards are maintained
- Education/Training of existing staff
- Provide focused one-to-one orientation of applicable
SOPs/policies and procedures
- Review pharmacy and institutional systems and evaluate
competency for use
- Mentor and coach
- Develop/coordinate/document training/education schedule and
materials
- Education/Training/Onboarding of new staff
- Educate/train on new process/procedures/updates
- Re-train as applicable
- Evaluate competency levels and identify areas of
opportunity
- Develop/coordinate/document training/education schedule and
materials
- Auditing
- Perform weekly and monthly audits for specified areas
- Track/trend issues and develop mitigation strategies
- Work with other areas to correct issues when applicable,
research root cause, and work towards process improvement
- Quality Improvement/Performance
- Chair/Lead quarterly Quality Performance/Improvement Committee
meetings
- Participate in Quality Improvement Projects as applicable
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field, Health Care related field
preferred
- Advanced degree preferred i.e. MBA, PharmD
- Minimum of five years pharmacy or healthcare experience in a
Quality of Accreditation role
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Planning and project management skills
- Deep understanding or the ability to learn specialty pharmacy
accreditation standards, with emphasis on URAC and ACHC
accreditation
- Able to travel for varying lengths of time away from home
location by plane or car
- Local to major airport preferred
- Must be able to meet company standards for a MVR CPS
