Summary:

• 
  
• We are looking for an experienced Claims Manager to oversee and manage a wide range of claims, including general liability, auto, equipment, and property claims.
  
• The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented professional with strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of insurance claims management.
  
  **This is an in-officerole based out of our Fredericktown office.***
  
  Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
  
  • 
    
  • Claim Processing:
    
    • 
      
    • Handle and process all types of claims, including general liability, auto accidents, equipment damage, and property damage.
      
    • Investigate and assess the validity of claims, gathering all necessary information and documentation.
      
    • Collaborate with insurance carriers, third-party adjusters, and legal teams as needed to facilitate the claims process.
      
      
      
    • Documentation and Record Keeping:
      
      • 
        
      • Maintain accurate and organized records of all claims, ensuring that all documentation is complete and up-to-date.
        
      • Prepare and submit detailed reports on claims status, trends, and recommendations to senior management.
        
        
        
      • Negotiation and Settlement:
        
        • 
          
        • Negotiate settlements with claimants, insurance carriers, and other parties involved to achieve fair and cost-effective resolutions.
          
        • Monitor and manage reserve levels for open claims to ensure appropriate financial planning.
          
          
          
        • Team Collaboration:
          
          • 
            
          • Collaborate with the finance, legal, and risk management team to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to claims management.
            
            
            
            Qualifications:
            
            • 
              
            • Proven experience in claims management, risk management or related field
              
            • Strong knowledge of insurance policies, coverage, and claims procedures.
              
            • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
              
            • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
              
            • Proficiency in using claims management software and tools.
              
            • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
              
            • Proficient with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc---)
              
            • General knowledge or interest in the construction industry strongly preferred.
