Role
We are looking for a Sales Manager to join the team. We're building a best-in-class consumer/healthcare brand and are looking for enthusiastic sales managers who are passionate about building teams that sell an amazing product. You will be an important part of a hard-working, winning team.

You will manage a team of customer success sales representatives and a sales development representative. Throughout, you'll partner closely with our Customer Support team to coordinate, structure, and execute on an amazing customer experience. From overseeing sales personnel to setting sales targets, the primary role of Inside Sales Manager is to ensure the success of a company's sales department. Inside Sales Manager will hire, train and manage the professional development of an inside sales team, which consists of individuals who conduct sales via phone and/or video calls. They set sales goals, track sales, produce sales reports and complete monthly forecasting.
Additionally, as a frontline leader, you'll deliver key insights to our product, design, operations, engineering and marketing teams to ensure that customer needs are heard across the business. You will report directly to our Sales Director.

What You'll Do


  • Manage a team of 4-8 inside sales representatives and a sales development representative
  • Set and track sales targets for your team with daily coaching
  • Report on team sales and determine commissions
  • Set schedules and monitor hours
  • Suggest and implement improvements in the sales administration process
  • Coordinate department projects to meet deadlines
  • Report on sales metrics and suggest improvements
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts
  • Hiring talent and work closely with Training Manager on sales onboarding
  • Use customer feedback to generate ideas about new features or products
  • Research and discover methods to increase customer engagement
  • Ensure sales, finance and legal policies and procedures are met
  • Build an open-communication environment for your team
  • Develop team members professional and professionally
  • Liaise with Marketing and Product Development departments to ensure brand consistency and increase sales

    What You'll Need

    • 2+ years of experience managing a team in a fast-changing environment with a proven sales track record.
    • Expert communication skills (written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal)
    • The ability to handle multiple projects and competing priorities (ability to make trade-offs effectively) and adapt rapidly to a fluid, high-growth environment
    • Team player with a strong sense of ownership and a "get things done" attitude
    • Ability to embrace change and thrive in a fast-paced start-up culture.
    • Hands on experience with CRM software, SFDC ideal, Mac systems and Google Suite of programs
    • In-depth understanding of the sales process
    • Excellent interpersonal and team management skills
    • Strong analytical and organizational skills
    • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis on sales or relevant field
