The Department of Neurology at Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center under the direction of Benjamin Segal, MD, Chairman located in Columbus, Ohio is actively growing and recruiting highly motivated Neurologists committed to excellence in Neurological care. DIVISION DIRECTOR - MOVEMENT DISORDERS The Department of Neurology at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is recruiting a nationally renowned Division Director of Movement Disorders to hold the Clayton Wagner Parkinson's Disease Endowed Chair in Neurology. The endowed chair was established by Clayton C. Wagner on December 3, 1999 to support a nationally or internationally recognized physician faculty member whose focus is to advance medical knowledge of Parkinson's Disease toward developing effective and innovative treatments and the eventual cure of the disease. Our Movement Disorders Division has a long history of participation in both national multi-center clinical trials and site initiated research. The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center became one of the first medical centers in the nation to integrate our five comprehensive Neuroscience related departments (Neurology, Neurosurgery, Neuroscience, PM&R and Psychiatry) into a comprehensive Neurological Institute. Our program includes four hospitals, ten outpatient ambulatory care centers and a neuroscience research institute with NIH funded NeuroNEXT and NETT centers. Academic rank and salary will commensurate with professional experience and qualifications. Minimum Qualifications:

  • MD or DO
  • Successful completion of a United States Neurology Residency
  • Additional fellowship training in Movement Disorders
  • Administrative and Leadership Experience
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible
  • Ohio Medical License
  • Qualify for academic appointment at the Senior Associate Professor or Professor level.
