Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Independent Contractor

Practical Nurse (LPN) independent contractor, with our shared
values, to become a part of our team! The independent contractor's
responsibilities include completing assigned tasks with minimal
supervision. You should also complete and file your tax returns in
a timely manner. You will provide routine healthcare in a patients
home.To ensure success as an independent contractor, you should
possess excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving
skills. Ultimately, an outstanding Independent Contractor will
produce high-quality work with minimal supervision.Summary
ResponsibilitiesThe LPN Contractor will administer nursing care to
ill, injured and/or disabled patients. These activities directed by
the patients Plan of Care. The ideal person for this position has
the experience, compassion, and a solid understanding of all
aspects of patient home health care.Responsibilities:Nursing
activities Accurately execute the Plan of Care ensuring patients'
safety and well-being are being met through nursing activities.
Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the treating
physician. Provide advice and emotional support to patients and
their family member. Educate patients about health maintenance and
disease prevention.Apply compliance knowledge Demonstrate knowledge
of all aspects of patient care by using a sensitive approach.
Establishes a trusting relationship with the patient and family
while maintaining confidentiality. Communicate with Case Manager on
collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care.
Maintain accurate patient logging. Prepare and provide clinical
notes/charting to clients case manager on patients overall
progress. Knowledge and compliance of all state patients rights is
required.Requirements:Current State Nursing License in good
standingGraduate of an accredited School of NursingCPR
CertificationComplete minimum state-mandated training hours, if
applicableSafe driving record with reliable transportation and car
insuranceMust be able to pass a drug test and background
checkExcellent communication and organizational skillsMust be free
from health problems that may be injurious to client, self and/or
other caregivers and must present appropriate evidence to
substantiate health statusWorking knowledge of client-based medical
software and equipmentAbility to work independently with little to
