Discount ProgramsWhat Youll Do:Provide direct patient care as
defined in State Nurse Practice ActImplement current nursing
practice following a comprehensive assessment and the plan of
careProvide accurate and timely documentation of patient services
to reflect the plan of careAssess and provide patient and
family/caregiver education and information pertinent to diagnosis
and self-plan of careParticipate in the coordination of hospice
services, appropriately reporting the identified needs to the
interdisciplinary group.Provide appropriate pain/symptom
management. Evaluates the patients response to
treatments/medicationsQualifications:Graduate of an accredited
practical nurse or a vocational nursing programThree years of
nursing experience. Community health, hospice or medical/surgical
experience is preferredCurrently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the
practicing stateMust possess current CPR CertificationDemonstrates
good verbal and written communication, and organization skillsValid
drivers license with an automobile that is insured in accordance
with state requirementsUnderstands the philosophy of hospice
