  • Traveler's permanent address must be greater than 100 miles from the central facility OhioHealth Grant to be eligible to apply.
  • NEED: RN MS/Tele Stroke Unit
  • 1,059 bed magnet hospital and level II trauma center.
  • Epic EMR, navy scrubs.
  • Unit Description: Acute care interventional telemetry medical surgical unit, 32 private beds, acuity ranges from moderate to high (frequent neuro checks), patient population includes various neurological/neurosurgical diagnoses. No ventilated patients. Common medication drips.
    • Job Requirements
    • 1.5 years of SD or CC experience
    • Large hospital experience
    • Ability to read & interpret Telemetry independently, strong neuro assessment skills
      • Schedule Information
      • Night Shift, 3x12's, 7 PM - 7:30 AM, every other weekend, every other holiday
        • Unit Specific Information
        • No call policy for the unit
        • The unit's patient population includes acute ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke, encephalopathy, brain mass, hemicraniectomy, among other diagnoses.
          • Additional Details
          • First to float policy
          • Holidays based on need
          • 1:5-6 nurse-patient ratio
          • Acuity level ranges from moderate to high
          • Navy blue scrubs required
