Board certified Pathology Assistant (ASCP)
- Job Details
- Traveler's permanent address must be greater than 100 miles from OhioHealth Grant to be eligible to apply.
- Position: Board certified Pathology Assistant (ASCP)
- Pathologists' Assistants provide processing of laboratory specimens
- Responsible for case accessioning, gross description and sampling of tissue specimens, evisceration and prosection of autopsies, and more.
- All tasks executed with different levels of supervision based on activity.
  - Job Requirements
  - Graduate of Accredited Anatomic Pathologist Assistant program
  - ASCP certification
  - Prefer 1-2yrs of grossing experience
    - Schedule Information
    - Weekend Days (Fri/Sat/Sun/Mon/Tue 0500-1330)
      - Unit Specific Information
      - Traveler's duties include working in the laboratory unit handling various specimens.
        
        Additional Details
        
        EPIC EMR system used
        
        Red scrubs required
