  • Job: MedSurg Oncology Unit
  • Term: 13 weeks
  • Shift: Night shift, 3/12's, every other weekend and holiday
  • Target Start Date: ASAP
  • Will consider up to two weeks of RTO
  • First float to appropriate area and could be in 4 hour increments as necessary for patient care
  • No call required
  • Day ratio 1:4-5, 6 on rare occasion
  • Night ratio 1:5-6, 7 on rare occasion
  • Mondays and Fridays also required for day shift; likely 1-2 of each or more during a scheduling period (6 weeks)
  • Sundays required for night shift, likely up to 3 per scheduling period
  • Level II trauma, Magnet Hospital, Comprehensive Certified Stroke Center
    • Job Requirements
    • 1 year of experience will be considered
    • Large Hospital experience
    • BLS (AHA) certification
    • Tele competent, ability to work in the vicinity of chemo/hazardous medications
    • Awareness of palliative/hospice patient population (significant frequent comfort medications and fair amount of patient deaths/morgue care)
      • Schedule Information
      • Night shift, 3/12's, every other weekend and holiday
      • Every other weekend requirement (days Saturday and Sunday 12 hours, nights Friday and Saturday 12 hours)
      • Mondays and Fridays required for day shift; Sundays required for night shift
        • Unit Specific Information
        • MedSurg Oncology Unit
        • Awareness of palliative/hospice patient population
