Experience: --- 12 months of role experience is required from any number of months. --- 12 months of Medical Surgical Oncology experience is required from any number of months. --- Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months. Requirements: --- Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required for submission). --- This role will require floating to multiple units --- Local & travel allowed. Additional Details: Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program. References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. D/N or Nights Weekends - variable based on unit needs. No set/blocked scheduling as that is not something we offer our permanent staff. Self-schedule requests - you will enter your schedule requests so we can see your preferred schedule before balancing and posting the final schedule First week of orientation is Mon - Fri dayshift. Second week is 36hrs of on-unit orientation with a preceptor. Floating to other Med/Surg and Oncology Units. Patient Diagnoses --- Lymphoma --- Multiple Myeloma --- Acute leukemias --- Chronic Leukemias --- Sickle Cell Disease --- other non hem cancers --- Other benign hematology Special Procedures/Unit Details --- Chemotherapy --- Blood transfusions --- IV Antibiotics --- Oncologic emergencies: tumor lysis syndrome, cytokine release syndrome --- Insulin drips --- Heparin drips --- Heavy focus on infection prevention protocols and patient falls. RTO required with submission, must be built into contract. Former employees are eligible for a travel assignment once they have been away from the facility for 6 months or more.
