This position reports to the AVPO and is responsible for providing high interaction with patients as well as new hire clinicians during hospice visits. 90% Travel Required within the OH West territory!

• Facilitates the learning experience to allow preceptees to perform competently in their required responsibilities. This is achieved through mentoring, coaching, and role modeling correct behaviors.
• Performs patient home visits in accordance with physicians' orders.
• Orients new nurses (preceptees) which includes hospice clinical policies and procedures, documentation, technology, compliance and regulatory requirements About You:
  • MUST be able to travel 90% of the time within the OH West Territory
  • MUST have Hospice experience
  • Must be friendly and able to effectively teach
  • Current CPR certification
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a clinical setting
  • Diploma, Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
  • Unencumbered RN license in work state assigned We Offer:

Gentiva provides associates with a comprehensive benefits and total rewards package, of which base pay is just one piece. Salary Range - $74,025 to $92,530 Location: Heartland Hospice
