• Employment Type: Local ContractAbout the Role:We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with the geriatric population, helping residents improve their communication, cognitive-linguistic, and swallowing abilities to enhance their quality of life.Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on resident needs and goals.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including PTs, OTs, nursing, and dietary staff.
  • Document services provided in accordance with regulatory and company guidelines.
  • Educate residents, families, and caregivers on communication and swallowing strategies.
  • Participate in care planning meetings and contribute to resident-centered care initiatives.Qualifications:
    • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
    • Current SLP state license.
    • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred (CFY candidates may be considered).
    • Experience in a SNF or geriatric setting strongly preferred.
    • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
