Job Description Locums - Obstetrics and Gynecology Call - Tiffin, OHWhy This Role? - Ongoing call-only coverage needed due to provider shortages - Balanced mix of GYN and OB with surgery and delivery responsibilities - Flexible shift dates available through the end of the year Duration: July 3, 2025 - December 22, 2025Coverage Type: Call OnlySchedule/Coverage Need: - Call is not in-house - Coverage needed on: - July 3 - July 8 - August 12 - August 14 - August 28 - August 29 - September 25 - September 29 - October 9 - October 13 - October 23 - October 27 - November 13 - November 17 - December 18 - December 22Opportunity Highlights: - Practice setting: Hospital-based call for ER, GYN, and L&D - Beds: 10 LDRP, 3 postpartum, 1 triage - Nursery: 12-bed normal newborn (no special care nursery) - Team: 2 OB/GYN physicians, 5 CNMs - Case mix: 40% - 50% GYN; 1 - 4 GYN surgeries/day; 15% - 35% C-sections - Nursery admissions: 2 - 5/day; average 3 - 4 newborns daily - EMR: Epic - Will facility accept multiple providers: Yes - Admissions required: Yes - Temporary privileges available: Yes (clean OH license and DEA) Requirements: - Board certification or eligibility: Yes - Active state license required to bid: Yes (OH) - IMLC accepted: Not specified - ACLS, NRP - Flu vaccine required - COVID vaccine preferred - Must be available for listed dates - Clean history Skills Needed: - Low and high-risk pregnancy care - Routine and complex deliveries, including C-sections - GYN surgery (inpatient and emergency) - OB triage and hospital call management
