Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric ICU position requiring an OH or compact RN license and willingness to float to multiple units. Responsibilities - Position is in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) within a hospital setting - Expectation to float to NICU, CV PICU, Emergency Dept, stepdown, and med-surg units as needed - Day shifts are 3x12 hours, from 7:00 to 19:30 - EPIC EMR experience is required - Assignment requires availability through the New Year holiday - Must be willing and prepared to float to various units based on need - No requests for block scheduling or more than 5 days of requested time off will be considered - Requests for time off on December 24 or 25 cannot be accommodated - Reliability is critical, with strict policies regarding attendance and lateness - First-time travelers are considered on a case-by-case basis Requirements - Active OH or compact RN license in hand - At least 2 years of PICU experience is highly preferred - EPIC EMR experience required - Ability to provide 2 professional references, at least one from a manager or supervisor - First-time travelers may be considered with more than 3 years of experience and Level 1 Trauma experience - Not eligible if you have worked as a permanent employee for the facility within the past 2 years - No local candidates allowed; must live outside a 60-mile radius from the facility Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-622719.
