PCU Travel Nurse Job Details - Location: Columbus, Ohio 43210-1240 (Ohio nursing jobs) - Healthcare Setting: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) – Lower Acuity Cardiac - Position Type: Travel RN Contract - Contract Length: 13 weeks - Start Date: October 6, 2025 - Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,914 - $2,127 - Shifts per Week: 3 (12-hour night shifts) - Total Hours: 36 hours/week - Patient Ratios: 1:3 - Schedule: Weekdays, some weekends, rotating holidays Registered Nurse Qualifications - Active RN license in Ohio or compact state (Registered Nurse license required) - Minimum 2 years of recent PCU or cardiac nursing experience - BCLS and ACLS certifications (required for travel nursing jobs) - Proficient in IV starts and telemetry monitoring - Experience with EPIC EMR - Ability to float to units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed - Cardiac care experience preferred PCU RN Responsibilities - Deliver high-quality nursing care to cardiac patients in a lower acuity PCU setting - Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in patient conditions - Initiate and manage IV therapy and telemetry monitoring - Document patient care accurately using EPIC EMR - Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal outcomes - Float to other units within scope of practice as required - Participate in rotating holiday and weekend coverage Apply now to join the Columbus, Ohio healthcare team as a PCU Travel Nurse.
