Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a
qualified Neuro ICU RN in Columbus, Ohio, 43210! Job Title: Travel
Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Neuro Intensive Care
Unit Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day/Night Rotation Hours per Shift:
12 Hours Experience: 3 years of Neuro ICU Experience License: Valid
compact or state license required Certifications: BCLS, ACLS, NIHSS
(AHA Certifications only) Must-Have: IV Start Telemetry Ventilators
Intracranial Pressure Monitoring EHR Experience: Epic Previous
travel experience preferred Description: Position available in the
Neuro Critical Care Unit. Shifts will include a day and night
rotation, working every other weekend. Schedule consists of three
12-hour shifts, totaling 36 hours per week. On-call duties will be
required. Patient-to-nurse ratios are estimated at 1:1 to 1:2.
Floating may be required within units of equivalent or lower
acuity. Patient population includes individuals with various
neurological conditions. Common diagnoses include ischemic and
hemorrhagic strokes, seizures, and neuromuscular diseases.
Post-operative neurosurgery patients are also part of the care
provided. Bedside procedures such as tracheostomy and central line
placement will be conducted. Candidates should have skills in
managing ventilated patients and conducting neurological
monitoring. Evidence of charge experience and familiarity with
telemetry is preferred. All candidates must comply with
credentialing requirements promptly upon acceptance. Professional
references are required, including at least one from a manager or
director. Former employees may be eligible for a travel assignment
