to find a qualified Neuro PCU RN in Columbus, Ohio, 43210! Job

(19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum 2 Years of PCU/Med-Surg
Experience Required License: Valid Nursing License Required
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Epic Experience
Required - Previous Travel Experience Preferred - Previous Charge
Experience Preferred Description: Rotating weeknights and weekends
are required. Rotating holidays are required. The traveler will be
required to float to different units as needed. Patient ratios are
estimated at 1:3-4. ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications are required.
Experience with Epic is mandatory. Candidates must have a minimum
of 2 years of experience in PCU or Med-Surg. All candidates must
complete fingerprints promptly upon contract signing. The role
includes a variety of patient diagnoses including epilepsy,
Guillain-Barre, multiple sclerosis, myasthenia gravis, and stroke.
Familiarity with special procedures such as lumbar drains and
external ventricular drains (EVD) is required. Candidates should
possess skills in accessing and managing ports, arterial line
management, blood product administration, and more. The patient age
groups include adults and geriatrics. Daily census includes
approximately 29 patients. The unit offers interdisciplinary
support from various services. Candidates must adhere to strict
compliance deadlines throughout the credentialing process.
