position. A Nocturnist role requires working exclusively overnight
shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule
and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during
nighttime hours. People First in Columbus Local Team Collaboration:
- We are seeking a nocturnist to join our well-established team of
18 physicians and 7 advanced practice providers (APPs), supported
by a clinical performance nurse, a clinical performance associate,
and a group coordinator at Mt. Carmel East. - Collaborate with a
diverse group of professionals from around the world. We are an
integral part of our hospital community and a valued strategic
partner, maintaining great relationships with hospital leadership
and other physician groups. - Our team actively participates in
committees and leadership roles to support quality and process
improvement. - Outside of work, we come together for social events
to celebrate special occasions and share common interests like food
and sports. Qualifications: - Board-certified/eligible in family or
internal medicine. - We proudly sponsor H1B visa candidates and
provide in-house visa specialists, licensing, and credentialing
support. Sound covers all required filing fees for the visa.

schedule is 7 on/7 off, but we understand the importance of
spending time with family and enjoying the outdoors. That’s why we
offer a flexible schedule that allows for work-life balance. Our
team covers for each other when anyone is out, ensuring that you
can enjoy time off without worry. Key Responsibilities: - Focus on
managing complex cases in an open ICU environment with intensivist
coverage, without the expectation of performing procedures or
running codes. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and
contribute to teaching medical and APP students from surrounding
universities and programs on occasion. - Participate in regular
team meetings, held two to three times per week, to discuss
critical items, and engage in monthly regional meetings to review
performance and address outstanding practice matters. Living and
