Columbus, Ohio Nursing Job Details - Location: Columbus, Ohio 43210 - Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) – Travel Nurse - Assignment Type: Travel nursing contract - Start Date: January 26, 2026 - End Date: April 27, 2026 - Contract Length: 13 weeks - Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,280 – $2,340 - Hours per Week: 40 - Shift Duration: 10-hour days (Shifts available: 8, 10, and 12 hours; Day/Evening coverage 06:30–23:30) - Call Hours: Monday–Friday 21:00–06:30; Saturday/Sunday 12-hour shifts (06:30–19:00 and 19:00–06:30) - Weekend Coverage: 3 weekend shifts per 13-week contract as needed - Unit: Operating Room – 4 Rhodes (Level 1 Trauma, 18 ORs) - Patient Age Groups: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics - Daily Census: 45–50 surgical procedures daily - Employment Type: Travel Nurse – Operating Room Registered Nurse Registered Nurse Qualifications - Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience in a hospital or trauma center - Level 1 trauma center and strong scrub experience required - Active Registered Nurse license (compact RN license or Ohio RN license) - Graduate of an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program - BCLS certification required - EPIC electronic health record (EHR) experience - Ability to float to other hospital units as needed - Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions considered) - Two professional references required (one from manager/director or charge RN) - Preferred: Experience with ENT, GU, Plastics, Burns OR RN Responsibilities - Deliver high-quality patient care during surgical procedures including General, Robotic, Laparoscopic, Trauma, Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, Spine, Ophthalmology, ENT, Plastics, Burns, Urology, GYN, and Transplant surgeries - Circulate and scrub with a focus on Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, Spine, and General Surgery cases - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes - Maintain accurate and timely patient records using EPIC EHR - Participate in call coverage and float to other units as required Experience the best of Columbus, Ohio—enjoy a lively downtown, cultural attractions, and outdoor recreation.
