Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/09/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Opportunity – Operating Room Registered Nurse – Ohio Start Date: February 9, 2026 Location: Columbus, Ohio Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Day and evening shifts with a mix of 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts totaling 40 hours per week. Hours range from 0630-2330. Call coverage required Monday-Friday 2100-0630 and weekends 12-hour shifts (0630-1900 and 1900-0630). Three weekend shifts per 13-week assignment as needed. Highlights: - Level 1 Trauma center with an 18-bed Operating Room performing 45-50 surgical procedures daily - Diverse surgical case mix including General, Robotic, Laparoscopic, Trauma, Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, Spinal, Ophthalmology, ENT, Plastics, Burns, Urology, GYN, and Transplant procedures - Primary focus on circulating for Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, Spine, and General Surgery cases - EPIC charting system utilized for patient documentation - Opportunity for float assignments across the organization to expand experience - 13-week travel assignment with pre-approved time off available Requirements: - Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience - Valid RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission) - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification - EPIC experience required - Level 1 Trauma center experience strongly preferred - Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program - 2 professional references required (at least one from a manager, director, or supervisor) - Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only) - Experience in ENT, GU, Plastics, and Burns preferred Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers the chance to work in a high-acuity Level 1 Trauma center with exposure to a comprehensive range of surgical specialties and advanced robotic and laparoscopic procedures.
