shifts, self-scheduling with variable weekends based on unit needs
Highlights: - Specialize in caring for newly diagnosed acute
leukemia patients in a 24-bed medical oncology unit - Goal staffing
ratio of 1:4, flexible self-scheduling to accommodate your
preferred shifts - Epic charting system with comprehensive
interdisciplinary support including Rapid Response Teams -
Comprehensive two-week orientation: first week Monday-Friday day
shift, second week 36 hours with preceptor - No chemotherapy
certification required for this position - Focus on infection
prevention protocols and patient falls prevention Requirements: -
Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required; travel nursing
experience preferred - Valid Compact or Ohio RN license in hand at
time of application - BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIHSS
and ONS Chemo certification preferred - Proficiency in
MS/Telemetry, telemetry monitoring, and interpretation of
dysrhythmias - Strong IV therapy skills including blood product
administration, central line blood draws, PICC line management, and
peripheral line care - Experience with feeding tube care and
management - Epic charting system experience required - Flu vaccine
required (medical exemptions only) - Nursing education from ACEN or
CCNE accredited program - Two professional references required: at
least one from manager/director or formal leadership role Why It's
