Nurse – Ohio Start Date: February 9, 2026 Location: Columbus, Ohio
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule:
12-hour night shifts (day/night option available), self-scheduling
with request accommodation, variable weekend coverage based on unit
needs. Orientation includes first week Monday-Friday day shifts,
followed by 36 hours of on-unit preceptor training. Highlights: -
Work in a newly opening tower dedicated to acute leukemia and
hematology patient care - Serve primarily newly diagnosed acute
leukemia patients, along with adults and geriatric populations -
24-bed unit with goal staffing ratio of 1:4 (maximum 1:5) - Epic
electronic medical record system with extensive interdisciplinary
support team - Self-scheduling flexibility to accommodate preferred
work schedules - High-acuity medical unit with focus on blood
product administration, IV antibiotics, and electrolyte management
Requirements: - Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required;
travel nursing experience required - Valid RN license (Compact or
Ohio state license in hand at time of submission) - BLS and ACLS
certifications required; NIHSS, ONS Chemo Certification preferred -
Proficiency in telemetry monitoring, interpretation and management
of dysrhythmias - Experience with IV therapy/phlebotomy, blood
product administration, central line blood draws, PICC line
management, and starting IVs - Competency in feeding tube care,
peripheral and central line management, and use of Rapid Response
Teams - Epic charting system experience required - Oncology
experience preferred but not required - Graduate of ACEN or CCNE
accredited nursing program - Two professional references required
(at least one from manager/director or formal leadership) - Flu
vaccine required (medical exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not
required - Must complete Ohio fingerprinting process urgently upon
