Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CVOR - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/09/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) RN – Ohio Start Date: February 9, 2026 Location: Columbus, Ohio Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, Friday and Saturday plus one weekday night per week. No call required. Flexibility required. Highlights: - Work in a specialized cardiovascular program focused on heart and vascular care, surgery, and interventions - Case mix includes CABG, valve procedures, AAA, ascending and descending dissections, amputations, fistulas, TAVR, EVAR, TVAR, and more - Epic charting system used facility-wide - 1:1 patient ratio across all shifts - 7-bed cardiovascular operating room with advanced hybrid capabilities - Gain experience with both open and endovascular cardiac and vascular procedures Requirements: - Active RN license (compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission) - Minimum 3 years overall OR experience - Minimum 2 years dedicated cardiac, vascular, and transplant experience - Minimum 1 year CVOR experience - Minimum 1 year experience in a Level I Trauma facility - BLS and ACLS certifications required - Epic charting system experience required - Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program - Two professional references required: at least one must be from a manager, director, or formal supervisor - Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers the chance to work in a dedicated cardiovascular program serving adults and geriatric patients requiring complex heart and vascular interventions.
