Job Opportunity – Bone Marrow Transplant / Hematology-Oncology RN –
Ohio Start Date: February 9, 2026 Location: Columbus, Ohio
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule:
13-16 week contract; self-scheduling with float to other
Medical-Surgical Oncology units; weekend shifts variable based on
unit needs Highlights: - Specialize in Bone Marrow Transplant and
Hematology-Oncology care on a 36-bed mixed acuity PCU and
medical-surgical unit - Manage complex patient populations
including autologous, allogeneic, and syngeneic transplants, plus
CAR-T therapy - Work with diverse hematologic diagnoses including
AML, ALL, CLL, multiple myeloma, lymphomas, and myelodysplastic
syndromes - Epic charting system with comprehensive
interdisciplinary support including pharmacy, rapid response teams,
and physical therapy - 72-hour orientation with strong infection
prevention and patient safety protocols - One pre-approved time off
period available during contract Requirements: - Minimum 2 years of
RN experience with at least 1 year in both Medical-Surgical and
Oncology settings - Hematology-Oncology experience strongly
preferred - Previous travel nursing experience required - Valid RN
license (compact or Ohio state license in hand at time of
submission) - BLS certification required; ACLS strongly preferred -
Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy Certification preferred
- Proficiency in telemetry monitoring, central line management,
blood product administration, and dysrhythmia interpretation -
Experience with BMT, port management, and isolation precautions -
Education from ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program - Two
professional references required (one must be from a manager or
director) - Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only) Why
