This is a full-time position requiring day shifts, with three 12-hour shifts scheduled from 07:00 to 19:30. Job Details - Shift: Day, 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) - Years of Experience: 1 year - Travel Experience: Not required - Float Requirement: Yes (Floating to East Hospital may be required) - Patient Age Groups: Adults, Geriatrics - Patient Diagnoses: COPD, Asthma, Cancer - Special Procedures/Unit Details: Med/Surg floors and PCU - Special Equipment: GE 860 Ventilator (preferred) Required Certifications - Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification (preferred) - Basic Life Support (BLS) - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (preferred) - Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) (preferred) - High school diploma - College diploma/transcripts Essential Skills - Work Settings: Adult Critical Care, Emergency Department - Aerosol Medication Administration: Albuterol, Atrovent, Flovent, and other prescribed medications - Ventilator Management: BiPAP, CPAP, troubleshooting high-pressure alarms, weaning from mechanical ventilation - Airway Management and Suctioning: Extubation, nasal/oral airway placement, pulmonary hygiene, tracheostomy care - Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs) (preferred) Work Expectations All candidates must be willing to work weekends, and no time off (RTO) will be permitted during the period from February 22 to February 28. The role may require a flexible approach, including floating between campuses as necessary.
