Job Description:
Mount Carmel Health System, a cornerstone in central Ohios
healthcare community, is seeking a motivated Registered Nurse to
join our Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation team. As a vital
member of our healthcare team, you will provide specialized nursing
care in our cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation programs at our
state-of-the-art facilities. With a focus on enhancing patient
outcomes, you will utilize your clinical expertise to assist
patients in managing chronic cardiac and pulmonary conditions,
ensuring they achieve maximum recovery and health. Assess patient
health problems and needs in the cardiac and pulmonary
rehabilitation setting. Develop and implement nursing care plans
for cardiac and pulmonary rehab patients. Maintain accurate,
detailed reports and patient care records. Advise patients on
health maintenance and disease prevention. Monitor, record and
report symptoms and changes in patients' conditions. Operate
medical equipment and assist with patient rehabilitation exercises.
Coordinate with healthcare professionals to assess, plan,
implement, or evaluate patient care plans. Proficient in cardiac
and pulmonary care best practices. Strong interpersonal and
communication skills. Ability to work as part of a team and
independently. Experience with electronic health records (EHR).
High level of compassion and empathy. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active Registered
Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio. Basic Life Support (BLS)
Certification. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
preferred.
